  3. Site rescue

Recover, secure, get it running again.

The agency stopped replying, the site is broken, nobody has the accesses, the CMS has not been updated in years: I deal with this regularly, and it gets fixed.

Situations I take over

Four classic emergencies.

The vendor vanished

Recovery of the domain, hosting and site accesses, through official procedures, in your name.

The site is broken or hacked

Diagnosis, clean-up, fixes, hardening: stop the damage first, then understand why it happened.

The CMS is abandoned

Overdue updates, dead plugins, no backups: a catch-up, then a real maintenance rhythm.

You want a clean exit

Migration to managed hosting, without downtime or lost rankings: the address stays, the service changes.

and afterwards

Rescued, then monitored: never abandoned again.

A rescued site joins the infrastructure I document publicly: encrypted backups, continuous monitoring, updates kept current.

What you get

Clarity, in your name.

A written statementwhat is recoverable, what is not, what it costs: within a week of getting access.
Your own accessesdomain, hosting, site: everything back in your name, documented, reversible.
A site looked aftermaintenance and monitoring afterwards, at a flat fee known in advance.
Process & budget

First the assessment, then the decision.

You never pay for a rebuild without knowing whether a repair would have been enough.

Common questions

Site rescue: what people ask me.

I have no access at all, to the site or the domain.

That is common. Registrars and hosts have recovery procedures for the legitimate owner: we follow them together with your proofs, and everything returns to your name.

Does everything have to be redone?

Not necessarily, and the audit says so: if the existing base is sound, a repair is enough. If it is beyond saving, the rebuild is priced separately, and you decide.

Can you take over a WordPress site?

Yes: catch-up updates, plugin clean-up, hardening and backups. When the site lends itself to it, I also propose moving to a static site: fewer outages, fewer hacks, less maintenance.

The full step-by-step procedure (in French): prestataire web disparu, que faire et dans quel ordre.

Describe the situation, even a messy one.

Who built the site, since when it has been stuck, what you still have (invoices, emails, credentials): every detail helps, none is required.
