Questions about custom web applications
How much does a web application cost?
A first version starts at €890 excl. VAT. A larger application is priced in stages: the free, detailed quote, sent within 48 hours, sets the amount of each before any commitment. Hosting an application with accounts and a database costs more than hosting a site, and it is set in the quote.
Web app or mobile app?
A web application opens in the browser, on a computer or a phone, without going through an app store. A mobile app is installed on the phone: one codebase covers iOS and Android, from €490 excl. VAT. It is not hosted like a site, so there is no monthly fee, and any server it needs is priced separately.
Do I own the code?
Yes, it is written into the contract, and the source files are handed over when the balance is paid. The application is built on common technologies, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Docker, not on a proprietary tool: another developer can take it over.
Where is my clients' data?
On servers rented in France, at OVHcloud, with encrypted backups every night and a copy in the European Union. For personal data I act as a processor under the GDPR: I only process it on your instructions and for the service.
Who develops the application?
I do, from the first conversation to maintenance, with no subcontracting. The person who writes the code is the one who answers when something goes wrong.
